The osmanthus blooms with its sweet scent, and the golden autumn is bathed in the light of the full moon. During this traditional festival symbolizing reunion and harvest, the LFIS campus transformed into a stage for cultural convergence, hosting a Mid-Autumn celebration that transcended national boundaries. Here, we witnessed how culture flows naturally among teachers and students of different ages and nationalities.

Our international faculty also gathered together, savoring tea and engaging in meaningful conversations while handcrafting DIY scented candles. Through this East-West cultural dialogue, they gained a deeper appreciation for the essence of the Mid-Autumn Festival.

操场上传来了阵阵欢声笑语，学生们正在体验踢毽子、抽陀螺等传统游戏。这些古老的运动不仅是游戏的传承，更是文化的延续。

Laughter and cheers echoed from the playground as students experienced traditional games like shuttlecock kicking and top spinning. These ancient pastimes represent not merely the inheritance of games but the continuation of culture itself.

美食与手工艺总是最能直接触动心灵的文化载体。同学们一起制作了软糯可口的冰皮月饼。从和面、包馅到压模，每一步都是对传统文化的一次亲密接触。

Food and handicrafts are the most direct cultural vessels that touch the heart. Students joined hands in making soft and delicious snowskin mooncakes. Every step—from kneading the dough, wrapping the fillings, to pressing the molds—was an intimate encounter with traditional culture.

幼儿部的孩子们在老师的指导下，亲手清洗秋梨、加入冰糖，慢慢熬制出生津止渴的秋梨汤，这是他们理解的秋天最甜美的味道。

The kindergarten children made a throat-soothing pear soup by simmering washed pears with rock sugar under their teachers' guidance, which to them was the sweetest taste of autumn.

中学部的师生们邀约家长，选取各种中草药香料，一起调制独特香料，制作出独一无二的秋日香囊。

Teachers and students from the Secondary section invited parents to select various herbal spices. Together, they blended unique fragrances to create one-of-a-kind Mid-Autumn sachets.

The Mid-Autumn Festival has never been solely about the full moon in the sky, but more about reunion on earth. The scented candles made by our international teachers will be lit, their gentle flames glowing in harmony with the brilliant moon above.

在中秋之际，我们共同编织了一幅“月满中华、情系世界”的美好图景。正如我们校园上空的那轮明月，既照亮了东方，也照亮了西方。

Just like the moon shining over our campus, illuminating both the East and the West, we collectively wove a beautiful tapestry of "Full Moon over China, Hearts Connected to the World."
