健康与福祉/Good Health and Well-Being
良好的健康与福祉是联合国2015年确立的17项可持续发展目标之一。联合国秘书长古特雷斯表示,全球“需要齐心协力,以实现全民健康覆盖、可持续的健康融资,并解决日益增加的包括心理健康在内的非传染性疾病造成的负担。”G6、G7、KGA、KG3B的孩子们进行了深入的项目式科学探究活动。
The United Nations established 17 Sustainable Development Goals in 2015, and one of them is to ensure good health and well-being. The UN Secretary-General, Antonio Guterres, emphasized the need for the world to work together towards achieving universal health coverage, sustainable health financing and to address the increasing burden of non-communicable diseases, including mental health. As part of their scientific inquiry activities, G6, G7, KGA, KG3B children conducted in-depth project-based research.
Project1: Healthy Lifestyle

获取良好的健康与福祉与每一个人息息相关。高年段的同学在老师的带领下,掌握了基本的个人、家庭和社区健康的知识,“什么样的生活方式是健康的?如何保持健康的生活?”各抒己见,四个小组挑选了不同的研究话题:
Project 1 is about exploring healthy lifestyles. Good health and well-being are essential for everyone. Under their teacher's guidance, senior students have gained a basic understanding of personal, family and community health, including what constitutes a healthy lifestyle and how to maintain it. Each group was given a different research topic:
健康饮食组主要研讨人体成长发育必须的化学物质——营养物质,以营养物质的成分、功能为本组主要研究的内容。
The healthy diet group studied the chemical substances necessary for human growth and development, focusing on the composition and function of nutrients.
体育锻炼组以中学生如何进行体育锻炼为切入点,设计健康的体育类的活动。
The physical exercise group designed healthy sports activities for middle school students.
良好的卫生习惯可以让我们远离疾病的困扰,保持个人卫生组以生活为基石,探究如何养成科学合理的保持卫生的习惯。
The good hygiene habits group explored how to develop scientific and reasonable habits to maintain personal hygiene and health.
充足睡眠组的同学们重点整合不同年龄段每天的睡眠时间,同学们踊跃发言。
The adequate sleep group focused on integrating the sleep time of different ages daily.
未来研究员们用海报展示、知识问答、演讲等多种形式,展示了丰富的研究成果。
The students presented their research results in various forms, such as poster displays, trivia and speech, the future researchers were eager to express their opinions.
Project 2: PROTECTING KIDS
项目2:儿童的保护
可持续发展未竟的使命,是确保所有人的发展,不让任何一个人掉队!幼小儿童在老师们的带领下,亦开展了很多沉浸式的健康强化活动。
Ensuring development for all, without leaving anyone behind, is the unfinished mission of sustainable development. Teachers are crucial in leading young children to participate in various health-strengthening activities.
接种疫苗、重温七步洗手法、会刷牙都是孩子们人生的必修课。孩子们制作自己的海报来展示学到的、理解的健康常识,并大胆积极地承诺:我会勇敢接种疫苗!我会饭前饭后勤洗手!认真刷牙!
Children are taught essential health lessons such as vaccinations, the seven-step handwashing and proper teeth brushing. They create posters to demonstrate their learned health knowledge and make optimistic promises such as being brave enough to vaccinate, washing their hands before meals, and brushing their teeth carefully.
此外,体能课是LFIS的特色课程,在专业老师的指导下,孩子们持续进行科学有效的体育锻炼。小小运动员比赛,更是从细微处引导孩子爱上体育锻炼。
Moreover, under the professional teacher’s guide, children to perform scientific and practical physical exercises. The class also includes sports competitions, which help children find a love for physical activities.

然而,尽管近年来人类在提高人们的健康和福祉方面取得了长足的进步,但全球在解决诸如疟疾和结核病等重大疾病方面,进展已停滞或速度缓慢,全球至少有一半,即约35亿人口无法获得基本卫生服务。希望通过此次项目探究,能让更多的人关注人权的基本平等!
Efforts have been made to improve the health and well-being of people across the globe in recent years. However, the progress made in combatting significant diseases such as malaria and tuberculosis has slowed down or reached a standstill. Shockingly, at least half of the world's population, 3.5 billion people, lack access to essential healthcare services. This project can raise awareness of the fundamental equality of human rights.
