The 15th goal of the SDGs is Life on Land. The goal is to protect, restore and promote sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems,sustainably manage forests, combat desertification, halt and reverse land degradation and halt biodiversity loss. But Although we are a part of the Earth’s ecosystem, we may not realize it we have caused a lot of damage to it. It is now up to us to promote sustainable use of our ecosystem and preserve biodiversity.
艺术建模，深思环境破坏！
人类拥有美丽的生态环境，却肆意地去进行破坏，从而造成了一系列的生态问题，高中部的师生结合IB的艺术课程，就人类破坏环境的问题进行了艺术建模。

森林砍伐：森林砍伐导致土壤中储存的水减少，⼤片土地⼲涸，影响生态系统和农业发展。
Deforestation: Deforestation has caused less water to be stored in soil, resulting in large areas of dried-up land that affect the ecosystem and agriculture.
冰川融化：全球变暖导致冰川加速融化，导致海平⾯上升，极地动物的⾃然栖息地倍受影响。
Melting glaciers: Global warming is causing glaciers to melt at an accelerated pace, resulting in rising sea levels and affecting the natural habitats of polar animals.
洪水：极端天气的变化引发的洪水，不仅对⼈类而且对野生动物造成巨大破坏。
Floods: Floods are an effect of climate change that can cause devastation not only to humans but also to wildlife.

Mushroom clouds: Mushroom clouds are clouds of debris, smoke and condensed water formed from a nuclear explosion or a natural phenomenon like a volcano eruption.

高年级同学们进入课堂，通过小游戏了解了有哪些陆地生物，接着观看视频进一步探究了陆地生物和可持续性发展之间的关系。陆地生态系统有大量动物、植物和微生物，他们之间互相依赖，互相影响，然而陆地生态系统被破坏，大大地影响到了各类生命。那么，通过可持续发展，我们就可以为未来创造一个更可持续的地球。
The senior students entered the class, played small games with the students to learn about the life on land, and further explored the relationship between land life and sustainable development by watching videos. The terrestrial ecosystem consists of a large number of animals, plants and microorganisms that depend on each other and affect each other. 生物能动 The Biomass
高中部学生进行了一个生物能动小课堂的宣讲，同学们用生动形象的故事和趣味游戏与幼儿园小朋友进行了互动，普及了生物能动的知识。通过宣讲，孩子们明白了生物能动是指动物和植物身体中的力量，例如小动物能在运动中使用生物能动。对于动物来说，获得生物能动的主要途径是食物，通过进食各类食物，动物可以获得能量。因此，获取食物以及经常运动是我们保持健康生活源泉。
High school students conducted a small class on the biomass. The students interacted with the Kindergarten kids with vivid stories and interesting questions to popularize the knowledge of the biomass. the biomass refers to the forces in the bodies of animals and plants, such as small animals that can use the biomass in movement. For animals, the main way to get the biomass is the food. And by eating all kinds of food, animals can get energy. Therefore, getting food as well as regular exercise is the source of our healthy life.
